New owners for Bristol and Bath Science Park

The University of Bath and South Gloucestershire Council have teamed up to successfully purchase the Bristol & Bath Science Park in a joint £18 million bid. The new owners will use their complementary strengths, expertise and networks to fully realise the Park’s potential as a centre of excellence for research and development across the region.

Entries open for FSB Small Business Awards

The FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards recognise the best small businesses and the self-employed from right across the UK – from every sector and industry and from businesses of all ages and in sizebands up to 250 employees. Organised on a regional basis they are free to enter and are open to all small businesses, whether current FSB members, or not. Local Industrial Strategy event in Keynsham

The West of England Combined Authority (WECA) is holding a briefing session in Keynsham to talk about the development of a Local Industrial Strategy on Friday 21 September. 

The West of England is an economically successful region where businesses start, grow and thrive.

WECA and the Local Enterprise Partnership are working with the Government to develop a Local Industrial Strategy which will help deliver the region’s ambition to be a driving force for clean and inclusive growth.
