A new city centre gift card has been introduced in Bath.

Bath remains a popular destination for a perfect day out, combining high quality restaurants (Marco Pierre White and Pierre Koffman have just opened in the city) and wonderfully diverse shopping where famous names rub shoulders with niche independents. And of course, with the whole city set against a stunning 18th century architectural backdrop with some ancient Roman monuments to add interest, Bath provides an unbeatable cultural offer.

New premises for Mayden

Bath-based software company Mayden has just moved from One Widcombe Crescent to new offices at The Old Dairy in Oldfield Park, Bath. 

The move comes as a result of the company’s sustained growth from its inception in 2006 to a team of 68 people today, including developers, product experts, account managers, administrators and communications specialists.

Stay In Bath boost to local visitor economy

Bath is proving that its independent tourism businesses working together are prepared to hold their own and promote a local experience of the city with the launch of StayinBath.org, a collaboration of local independent accommodation providers backed by the Bath Independent Guesthouse Association (BIGHA), and supported by many of the city’s independent retailers and eateries.

Digital bus ticket scheme for West of England

A new digital travel top-up service has been launched in Bath and Bristol. Payzone and First West of England have teamed up to provide a convenient and accessible retail channel to support off-bus cash payments across its services.

Using the latest ITSO Smart Ticketing technology provided by our partners, Rambus, the new initiative  allows customers to pay for their bus tickets at any Payzone outlet in the region. Their ticket is loaded onto their smartcard at our Payzone tablet and is then ready for use on First WoE bus services across the region.
