Green Business Grants support SMEs to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings and business operations. This helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and can save businesses money on energy bills. Grants of up to £15,000 are now available to small and medium sized businesses in the West of England. These can pay for 40-80% of eligible costs, depending on your business’s size, location and project.

Bath & North East Somerset Council is reassuring businesses that it is gearing up to process government support grants as quickly as possible following the introduction of a new scheme due to the current lockdown.
Please note that a fake email purporting to be from HMRC is circulating, telling people they’re eligible for a ‘government grant’.
Bath and North East Somerset have not sent any emails regarding the new January grant payments as we are are currently setting up the application claimant process in compliance with the new guidance. Businesses should be warey of a new scam email reported. Please read this article explaining the warning signs and what to do if you have uploaded information.
