The City Celebrates

red, white and blue painted bicycle for tour of britainBath and North East Somerset (BANES) Council has organised a bicycle trail around the city, to encourage visitors and residents alike to explore Bath and celebrate the Tour of Britain stage finish.

Bicycles were painted red, white and blue by Julian House Bike Workshop and the Princes Trust, before being given free of charge to businesses to display to the public. The bicycles will be marked on a map that will lead readers on a treasure trail across the city to tick off as many as they can find. The bikes will be on display for 3 weeks from the 18th August.

All participating businesses will be featured on the Tour of Britain website.

Audience members can join the pedalling to help power the projector and PA system, or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. The Pizza Bike and the Split Screen Icecream Company will also be on hand should anyone need an energy boost!
