Could you benefit from having expert student teams working on a project for your business
Bath University IKEEP project have recently launched and we are looking for businesses and organisations of all sizes who would benefit from being matched up with student teams to remotely complete a project for your business.
The Intrapreneurial Knowledge Exchange Enterprise Pathway (IKEEP) is a new programme as part of the SETsquared Partnership (Global #1 Business Incubator) involving the universities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Surrey, part-funded by the Office for Students.
The IKEEP programme connects interdisciplinary and multi-institutional student teams with regional organisations to enable high quality knowledge exchange. Providing organisations with fresh perspectives and skills, by matching businesses with teams of 3 proactive students (a mix of undergraduates and postgraduates, from any discipline) to tackle innovative project briefs through short project placements up to four weeks long. These high-quality knowledge exchange opportunities enable regional businesses to develop and grow, developing business model solutions, market awareness and more while honing the talent of future graduates. In compliance with covid-19 restrictions, project placements will be run remotely.
This is entirely free for organisations and IKEEP pays students a set stipend at the end of a project. Several pilot project placements will run in February, then project placements will run in April and June/July based on student and organisation availability.
The project can be anything but it needs to be specific and achievable in 2-4 weeks. The students will work in teams of three for either 2 weeks full-time or 4 weeks part-time (starting in February) and there is no cost to you.
For the pilot phase in February, they are matching students from the University of Bath but as the two-year project progresses, offering teams of multi-disciplinary students across all five of our SETsquared Universities. The students have all undergone recent online training in a range of business areas such as managing innovation, design methodology and project management and they are ready to be placed with companies like yours!
They are looking for businesses with projects for our pilot right now but if you have a project coming up and would like to get involved later in the year we would like to hear from you too.
